Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is a left handed jumps racecourse, nestled in picturesque countryside and surrounded by idyllic Welsh hills. Bangor-on-Dee was first used for horse racing in 1859 and over a century and a half later, horses still race on virtually the exact same track.

Hurdle Course

Rails: Hurdle bends moved out and chase bends moved in since last meeting.

Weather
10mm rain in the week leading up to entries. Further 1.5mm on Monday, 1mm Tuesday, and 1.5mm Wednesday. Dry last 24hrs. Friday: Largely dry with sunny spells, poss. light showers around midday. Max temp 15 °C Saturday: Dry and bright, with the chance of an odd shower. Max temp 14 °C

Watering:12mm applied to the whole course last week. Further 12mm applied to the whole course yesterday, continuing today to maintain.
