Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is a left handed jumps racecourse, nestled in picturesque countryside and surrounded by idyllic Welsh hills. Bangor-on-Dee was first used for horse racing in 1859 and over a century and a half later, horses still race on virtually the exact same track.

Rails: 2m 4f bend and bend into the home straight are shared bends and have been moved out 2yrds since last meeting. Paddock bend and home straight rails in same position as last meeting. Distances tbc.

Weather

Dry this week, 3mm rain last week. Warm, dry, and sunny today. Amber heat warning in place until this evening with temperatures reaching 34°C. Chance of localised showers overnight into tomorrow morning. Dry and sunny tomorrow with temperatures reaching 30°C during the day and 28°C by racing.

Watering: 30mm applied last week. Saturday – 10mm Sunday – 10mm Monday -10mm Tuesday – 10mm Wednesday – 8mm Watering continuing today.
