Racing returns to Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse for the Summer Saturday this weekend.
The seven-card race meeting has 52 runners declared across the afternoon, including seven from Shark Hanlon Racing, with trainer John Hanlon sending his first runners over to Bangor-on-Dee since 2011.
The most entries for the Summer Saturday come from local trainer Donald McCain however, who has eight runners in action, including the hat-trick seeking Hidalgo De L’Isle, a winner on course here in February and May.
The winner of the 4.35pm race meanwhile, the Tote Supporting Racing With Pride Novices’ Handicap Hurdle, will wear a specially designed Racing with Pride rug in celebration of Pride Month.
Set to be another thrilling day on course, which includes live music in the Paddock Food Court, advance tickets are available to purchase prior to Saturday at £9 for the Open Course and £19 for the Paddock. Kids aged 17 and under attend for FREE with a paying adult.
Please note: a price increase of £3 applies on the day.
