Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse Announces Partnership with Wrexham Business and Community Awards for Halloween Race Day

Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is excited to announce a new partnership with the Wrexham Business and Community Awards as title sponsors of the upcoming Halloween Race Day, set to take place on Tuesday, 29 October 2024. This exciting collaboration brings together the local business community and racing fans for a memorable day of networking, charitable giving, and family-friendly Halloween fun.

The Wrexham Business and Community Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of local businesses across a range of sectors, will host a networking event on the morning of Halloween Race Day. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with professionals from across the region, followed by a complimentary race day experience.

In addition to supporting local business excellence, the Wrexham Business and Community Awards are proud to champion a number of important charitable organisations through their work. The Awards will be raising awareness and funds for Nightingale House, Agri-cation, Dynamic, Hope House, We Mind The Gap, Action for AT, and Shooting Star Cancer Support. These charities provide essential services to the community, supporting everything from hospice care and educational opportunities to initiatives for youth and families affected by illness.

The Halloween Race Day is a much-loved family fixture, perfect for celebrating the spooky season. Adults and children are encouraged to embrace the Halloween spirit by donning their best costumes, with a best-dressed competition for kids offering a fantastic prize. To create the perfect Halloween atmosphere, the Paddock Restaurant and Owners and Trainers Restaurant will be transformed with festive decorations, while pumpkin displays will add a magical touch to the Paddock Enclosure.

Kids can embark on an exciting trick-or-treat trail around the Paddock Enclosure, following clues and collecting treats along the way.

The Wrexham Business and Community Awards, which will take place on Friday, 22 November 2024 at Brymbo Enterprise Centre, highlight businesses that have demonstrated innovation, excellence, and a commitment to the local community.
