A Class 2 race is the feature on a card of six for The DragonBet Premier Hurdle Day on Saturday (23 March).
The DragonBet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Hurdle Race gets the card underway at 1.30pm by offering a total prize fund of £30,000 to connections.
The race, to be shown live on ITV4 and Sky Sports Racing, currently has eight runners declared, with the Olly Murphy-trained Pickanumber and Donald McCain-trained Jungle Jack – a winner at Bangor-on-Dee last year – heading the top of the market.
Marking an exciting start to racing at Bangor-on-Dee this weekend, there are also two Class 3 races amongst the afternoon’s action, with the Camden Stout Handicap Steeple Chase and the Becks Maiden Hurdle Race running at 2.30pm and 3.40pm, respectively.
Tickets are currently available to purchase for Saturday’s racing at the advance price of £9 for the Open Course and £21 for the Paddock Enclosure. Price increases apply on the day.
