This morning, Team Rickshaw took a well-deserved comfort break at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, coinciding with a two minute silence at 11am to remember the fallen on Armistice Day.
The team have been peddling alongside The One Show’s Matt Baker, in a cycling challenge from Holyhead to London that will total 400 miles when the team reach the capital on Friday 15 November.
Now at the half-way point of a difficult journey, the teams have not let the weather dampen their spirits and it was smiles all around as they approached the racecourse cheered on by staff, supporters and the racecourse mascot.
After a quick breakfast the team were back on their way in continuing their journey to pedal for Pudsey.
Matt Baker met with General Manager Jeannie Chantler, exclaiming; “thank you very much, the support has been amazing!”
Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse would like to congratulate the team’s hard work to date and wish them luck in the final stages of their journey.
