Welsh Elite Sport’s Letter to First Minister

The Welsh Government has announced that spectators will not be allowed to attend race meetings in Wales until early 2021 due to the Covid19 pandemic.

It had been hoped that after Westminster’s announcement of the reintroduction of spectators to elite sport in Tier 1 and 2 regions in England from December 2nd, that sports venues across Wales could do the same. Unfortunately this is not the case and discussions with Welsh Government are ongoing as we are working hard to reopen our gates to our customers in the safest way as soon as possible.

We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. Remaining fixtures at Bangor-on-Dee in 2020 are on the 11^th and 20^th December, both will be live on Sky Sports Racing.
