Noddy here, or as many of you know me, Sleepy Haven.
I’ve just had the most amazing couple of days, and I wanted to share all the fun I had with you all.
Last weekend, I trotted over to Chester Racecourse for Roman Day, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! Meeting so many of you was the highlight of my day. I felt like a celebrity with all the attention and questions about my life as a racehorse. It was lovely to see how interested you all were in my story. I certainly felt spoiled by all the pats and cuddles.
I even got to watch my racehorse friends compete from the side lines. Cheering them on was exciting, and I enjoyed every moment of it. You could say I had the best seat in the house!
And guess what? I even made it on TV! That’s right, my big moment in the spotlight.
The fun didn’t stop there. I also made my way to Bangor-on-Dee for the Family Fun Evening. It was great to see some familiar faces from previous visits, as well as meet new friends. I loved giving out cuddles and posing for the cameras.
After such exciting days, I’ve been enjoying some well-deserved lazy time in the field with my friends. Of course, I couldn’t resist being a cheeky boy and trying to annoy my best friend, Mai. And what’s a bit of fun without getting as muddy as possible when it rains? I’ve been making sure to keep my human friends busy with cleaning me up – they have their work cut out for them. However, this is hard with all the sunny weather we’ve had, I need my sun cream more than anything!
I’ve been gearing up for some upcoming competitions. I’ve been doing hill work and practicing with poles to get ready for some jumping events this month. Fingers crossed; I’ll bring home some lovely first-place rosettes. Jumping is my absolute favourite!
I can’t wait to see you all again soon. Until then, I’ll be here, either getting up to mischief or perfecting my jumps.
Stay tuned for more updates on my adventures!
Love, Noddy (Sleepy Haven).
